I'm not going to break in. That would be stupid. I didn't make it this far being stupid. I took the pics because maybe we can get our own legit lock on there - that's something Jeff could ask the DNR for. There's room for 6 locks and only one on there now.

Actually according to the posted signs we'd be using our discover passes to spend time on our (public) land. We're just discussing hypothetical solutions to a commercial operation blocking public access to public lands.

I just happen to take pics of the locking setup. There's a master lock and then levers with room for six separate locks. When I looked only one lever had a lock on it. Box Lever lock Master lock

in a .308 pickle, any help?

What longer range are we talking about? This Savage runs a 20 inch barrel, shoots sub MOA at 100 yards and I can hit clay pigeons with it at 750 shooting 168s. Those shots are rough in any kind of wind because I'm lobbing them, but that has very little to do wth the barrel length. I'd be...

Range Report Range Report: testing out the new Bullseye Camera and some 308 practice

Range Report: testing out the new Bullseye Camera and some 308 practice Yeah, it's bound to happen. Which is why I'm happy it came with the extended warranty, which covers bullet damage.

I have had, so far, zero issues with the wifi on my system.

I've shot with it up to 750 yards. Works great. Love it. Paid for it too.

Would you be happy with this? Leave it alone? .260 140g hunting VLD

I also love load development so I don't consider it wasted time. I run Berger Match 140s in my Savage 260 "TR" with a normal chamber (with a bit too much throat) using 4831SC. It shoots 1/2 MOA at its worst, weather permitting. It's in the high 2500s, which is slower than lots of loads but the...

Range Report Range Report: testing out the new Bullseye Camera and some 308 practice

I got the 1K yard bullseye camera for Xmas and took it put yesterday to test it out at short ranges. So far I am extremely happy with the system - it's easy to set up and use and the SW is intuitive. And there's no install (runs off the dongle) which I think makes a lot of sense. Here it is...

I got a Bulls Eye for Xmas. I shot with it yesterday and I love it. I can't wait to get it out to much longer ranges.

Sniper’s Hide Cup Official 2012 Sniper's Hide Cup

Re: Official 2012 Sniper's Hide Cup I'm guessing the wind is 15-20 MPH (???) with gusts up in the mid 20s. It actually rocked my parked car in the parking lot just now. I'm going to have to get the wind dope on this gun sewn up tight in the next 2 days or rack up a lot of zeros. Also...

Re: SHWW Group I'm heading over to Winthrop for the long weekend and I'm bringing steel. I have a spot we regularly shoot pistols at that I can get targets out at 700+ but it's going to be a hell of a hike to set up. If anyone has any good scouted 1K-ish spots in the Methow let me know...
