Has anyone tried the Berger 245 EOL bullets? I have an 8 twist Proof CF that I plan on developing a load for. Going to use Hornady brass until I can get my hands on Lapua brass next year. Apologies if this has been mentioned before.- Surly

I just took delivery of a FDE in 300WM yesterday. Very impressive to say the least. I will need a 308 bolt as well. Does anyone know what type of metal the action is made out of? I tried to find it in the manual but it doesn't mention anything.- Surly

How do you carry your long range rifle?
I am also looking for a solution to carry a AICS chassis/folder with my mystery ranch pack. I would like a soft shelled cover to keep it from rubbing on the frame etc. I checked out the SOLO covers and they look awesome but dont think they will fit an AI style rifle.- Surly

Actually, I had to refinance my mortgage to pay off my maxed out CCs. Once they were paid in full it freed up funds to purchase the rifle. Now I've been giving hand jobs in the ally near my house to make the CC payment. :ROFLMAO::cool:- Surly
