Firearms Bighorn TL3 DLC, 6mm BRA Barreled Action

Anyone want the barrel and sidewinder? I’m neck deep in dasher/brx and have no use for the bra but I’d buy the action.

    Shorty Rifle cartridge options

Between those two it’s not going to matter enough to make a difference, more Creedmoor brass available might be the only deciding factor. Unless you’re like me and just anti Creedmoor lol. My opinion the one you’re missing is a 6.5saum. For a 16” hunting rifle they are TOUGH to beat. I’ve...

    6 arc freebore question…

Are you guys modifying the freebore on the saami spec for the bolt guns or just running the saami reamer? If so, what are you running? I tried searching but nothing came up. Thanks!

    No love for Fierce????

Anything that has two ejectors is a company that has morons for designers or engineers…run! They pressure up faster and don’t run near as fast as they should, they dent your brass and in general solve a problem that didn’t exist.

Pros and Cons of these two options

And your resale will never be what the origin would be ;) Get what makes you happy, I ain’t paying for it.

Pros and Cons of these two options

JA Outdoors normally has Tikka actions…might check with them. Having said that I’m in the “get the Origin” camp.

SIG Cross - jam nut / extension removal?

https://shop.taconesports.com/product/barrel-removal-tool-for-sig-cross/ wrench…I got one yesterday and they were out after I checked out. They are showing 2 in stock right now.

SIG Cross - jam nut / extension removal?

They are out again…just talked to them on the phone. He has no idea when they will be back in stock but mentioned if you are changing to all Sig parts they will swap it out if you sent it to them. Not what I’m looking to do (wanting to make it a 6 Gaymoor) so that doesn’t help me at all. He...

SIG Cross - jam nut / extension removal?

Yes, it’s correct…not just good enough. Thanks, I’ll call them tomorrow.

SIG Cross - jam nut / extension removal?

There are two nuts…it’s like an unemployed engineer was hired to design the system. You need both the Avid barrel nut wrench and the 12 pt crows foot….there are two nuts. Where did you find the action wrench for sale?

SIG Cross - jam nut / extension removal?

I think it’s a terminology thing, meaning I think we’re saying the same thing. The wrench that Sig doesn’t have in stock goes on the bolt raceway and locks into the action lugs, that’s the action…or in the AR world receiver. Unless I’m missing your point…which is also quite possible ;)...

SIG Cross - jam nut / extension removal?

If you loosen the jam nut first you have to figure out a way to hold the action to get the barrel extension nut off. I’m contemplating chambering it up with a shoulder up against the barrel extension nut. Sig not stocking the proper tool is very frustrating. This barrel mess and not putting a...
