    Range Report Hunting with berger 105 hybrid

    With a 6x47 I had quarter to golf ball size exits on whitetails if you shoot behind the shoulder. Range was 250-525 yards. Shoulder hits do not exit. works great on yotes

    18" with 75 Amax's at 3040 via 8208, lapua brass, also have one that is a 20" same speed, I would not do a 20" again, I would stick with the 18" Had a 22" for a while too, shot the best at 3050, I could get 3100 but it shot much better at 3050.

    In my opinion the choice is very simple. Go with the Beast. Look at the track record of Nightforce versus the track record of vortex. All sorts of people are happy with vortex as they have great cs. Why would I want to put my money into a company that sure seems to have a LOT of failures...

    I would do a 300 wsm any day before a 308. I ran a 22" 300, 208's at 2815 fps. Barrel life should be between 4-5000 rounds. You can run 190's in the 29-3000fps range if you want more speed. They are very easy to load for, the brass is very stong and will last until you lose it, just remember...

    300wsm 208amax load

    It'll work with H1000 however you may not have the case capacity to hit pressure before you have a very compressed load. I used to shoot a lot of R19 with 208's out of a 22" wsm. H4831 works well too.

    Look at the number of people who have had to send in their scope for repair. I guarantee you more people have sent in vortex than nightforce. 15x is plenty for a 6.5cm Buy the nightforce f1, it is a great scope.

    I have run two different 6x47 barrels at 22" 3k with 105's will not be an issue and your brass will last you until you loose it, or shoot the barrel out.
