    Blackout Buffer Issue

I've yet to talk to anyone that didn't have issues with their blackout when they first got or built it. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

    Blackout Buffer Issue

I should have continued that. All 300blk are finicky. My 16" was a little worse than my 8" but with that said, once you get all the kinks worked out they shoot like a dream Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

DI vs Piston in a suppressed SBR

I've got a 300 blackout with an 8.2" barrel from Ice Arms. It's got an adjustable gas block, DI piston length gas system, and suppressed. I mainly shoot subsonic with this setup as I have a 16" blackout that I shoot my supers in. I agree with what they said above, the best way to go shooting...

    Blackout Buffer Issue

are you shooting handloads or factory?? I sometimes shoot 150gr handloads in my SBR. They're traveling about 1750 fps. But, normally I save the supers for my 16" blackout. I built the SBR for sub rounds. The pistol system in the shorter barrels are finicky....my 8" SBR I ended up butting the JP...

Savage Model 10 HS Precision .308, anybody have one? Stock options

man that looks sweet. I definitely thinking I want to go with the TAC21. I just like the way it looks. nice grouping too. I don't figure it would hurt my accuracy any

    Range Report .300 Blackout

Let me see if I can shed some light on this. I'm running 3 300 blackouts right now, a 16" and 8", both 1:8 twists, and a breakover, also 1:8 twist. At 100 yds, you're more than likely not going to get 1/2" MOA with subs. I handload Hornady 208 amax and the best I get at 100 yds is 0.985...

Sidearms & Scatterguns New to 1911s

keep this in mind as well.........you can spend less money on, lets say a Taurus PT1911, and drop a couple hundred more dollars on upgrading the internals and have a very nice 1911. My Taurus PT1911AR I have about $800 in. About 3 pieces of the original Taurus still remains. And it shoots...

Sidearms & Scatterguns New to 1911s

I've got 2 Taurus PT1911's. They are very good weapons. I qualified with my CHL with one of them. They are very accurate and well built. I think I paid $550 for mine when I bought it new. The only thing I would change on it is the hammer. I went with a Wilson hammer in mine. Taurus puts that...

Savage 10 FCP-K or Rem 700 SPS...any significant reason for one over the other?

I've got the Savage Model 10FCP HS-Precision chambered in .308. I've owned this one for a while now and have shot several hundred rounds through it, including both supersonic and subsonic ammo. I have the rifle zero'd in at 200 yds. On a sunny, calm day i'm shooting 1" groups at 200 yds. At 1000...

Savage Model 10 HS Precision .308, anybody have one? Stock options

That is actually correct.....I pulled it down when I got home this evening. bolts are 4.27" apart, and magazine is attached to action, not in the stock. I thought all the new rifles were center feed.

300 AAC blackout sub sonic loads

I haven't been able to find any threads on the 300 blackout on here. Quite surprising actually. I built my first one last year and i built my SBR this year. Now that I have my can I have mainly been shooting them subsonic. Which is a whole new ball game on the hog hunting around here. If...
