The big thing with the SCAR 20 running 6.5 CM is pierced primers, the same issue that other semi auto’s have with the cartridge. You should also be aware that if you are running it suppressed you void your warranty, which is truly a ridiculous stance for FN to take. I run both 6.5 and 308...- michealj88

You absolutely can not go wrong with a 223 bolt gun, especially suppressed, and with a 1:7 twist barrel you’ll do just fine in PRS if 700 yards is your maximum range. FN 509 Compact Tactical, experiences?
It’s been my CCW since they came on the market. No issues at all over a couple thousand, maybe 2500 rounds. The trigger sucked for the first 300 rounds or so but it’s smoothed out nicely from the gritty mess it was. 169 308 vs 6.5
I’ve had good luck with the 169gr. SMK in my Scar 20. The increased BC over the 168gr. is noticeable at extended ranges in my testing, and the accuracy is there, consistent MOA groups and no problem ringing steel out to 1000 yards. White oak armament SPR barrels?
I have a WOA SPR contour barrel on my Mk12 Mod 0 and a Bartlein SPR on my Knights SR 15. Both shoot sub MOA groups, with each giving me a few 1 hole groups over the years with my handloads.
