    Re: 280 Rem My vote would be for the 284 Winchester or the Shehane version shooting 180g Bergers either VLD or Hybrids. I like the case shape better than the 06 based cases. Barrel life for Fclass precision should be around 3000 rounds.

    Re: Long range loading nitpickers I think the difference in thrown weight/weighed weight is why a true OCW load is so important. This load will not be swayed by 0.2+/-g and will contact with the same POI at long distance due to similar velocities.
