    Both are at the top of the food chain. Might try to find a match and see if you can beg and shoot both. Either will serve you well, personal preference only, CG I really like. No experience with Huber, but nothing but positives from some very experienced shooters.

    Remington 5R is a great starter rifle, it's what I started on and was extremely accurate out of the box. Has a good HS stock, and a good barrel. Would be my choice. Check the for sale section here for some good deals.

    I would also look at Defiance for a quick and top shelf product. I have one in LH that I really like. Also have a rem, and it's just not cost effective to true up a 700 when you look at resale and the $100 or so difference. My 2 cents.

    Old style rems tuned up nice are a great lower priced trigger. Timney dominates the middle priced. Jewell, Huber, CG Jackson are all high end triggers. Take your budget and pick accordingly. I prefer Timney and CG. Can't really go wrong with any of them.

    While I have used, and liked, the TA33, I prefer the TA11. For short range, I like the Aimpoints or Eotechs, but for versatility the ACOG's are second to none in a battle optic.

    I would decide what features are most important to you. Magnification range, focal plane, reticle, illumination, zero stop, MTC, size, weight, and price are just some of the features. That will help to narrow down the excellent list provided by Crosshair.
