7mm-08 162 A-max with rl-17 or 2000mr
Does anyone here have any load data with reloader 17 or 2000mr for the 162 A-max in 7mm-08? I'm using H4350 now and would like to get a little more velocity. Alliant lists 2000mr at 2700fps at 2.800 OAL. I am currently shooting 2.835 OAL which feeds from my AI mags. If anyone has data for AI mag...- bmarc69

162 Amax & RL-17 Results
Re: 162 Amax & RL-17 Results I am loading H4350 right now at 2650. I am trying to get info on the reloader17 as I have some to try. I am using AI mags so my max OAL is 2.835. Based on the data above, How much should I reduce to compensate for the shorter OAL and lesser case capacity?- bmarc69

AR-15 Piston System - Why?
Re: AR-15 Piston System - Why? While I only have around 2500 rounds through my LWRC I have never had a malfunction of any kind. Just yesterday it went over 1500 rounds since it's last cleaning.- bmarc69

7 Rem Mag - 7 WSM - 7-08
Re: Loads for 7 Rem Mag-7 WSM-7-08 Biker, I ran some through the chronograph today. 7mm-08 Norma brass 2.835 OAL 162gr. A-max CCI BR2 primer 26" barrel 45.0gr. H4350 The average velocity was 2645. Hodgdon lists max at 48gr. but at 2.875 OAL. I have tested loads to 45.8gr. with no pressure...- bmarc69

HELP PLEASE!
I am loading 7mm-08 with 162gr. a-max. Hodgdon gives a starting load of 45.0gr. and a max of 48.0gr with h4350 powder. The OAL for their data is 2.875. I am using badger m5 dbm and it looks like I can only load to 2.830. My question is should I back off below minimum due to the bullet being...- bmarc69
