    Night Vision RS64 and LS64

Thanks SkyPup. Would you say the "picture" through the two is comparable? Basically I shouldn't expect any increase in ability to detect/identify with the RS over the LS? I thoroughly enjoy my RS64. Recently upgraded from a PS32. What a difference!! Now I'm thinking about the RS dedicated...

    Night Vision RS64 and LS64

I'm trying to get a feel for what to expect from a FLIR RS64 (35mm). I own a FLIR LS 64. The specs on these two units look very similar. I'm assuming the "picture" from the RS64 would be very similar to that from my LS64. Anybody have first hand experience with these two units?

Suppressors Supersonic rounds through suppressed rifle, hearing safe? Do you wear ear pro?

I always wear hearing protection unless I'm hunting (single shot) Regardless of quality/type of suppressor a supersonic crack is not hearing safe. It may not do immediate damage but repetitive exposure definitely will.

    Suppressors AAC 7.62 SDN-6 wiggleage?

Just tried the "fix". Was able to get my SDN-6 to lock up tight on one of my mounts. Absolutely no movement. All it took was a little work with a fine metal file. I was really surprised at how little I had to remove before the latch advanced to the next notch. We'll see what effect this as...

    Suppressors Suppressed cold bore shot

WOW... 6" POI shift from first to second shot?? Take a look at how the can's ratchet mount is lined up when you put it on (pre first shot) and after the first round. You may be tightening it on a tooth that isn't holding after the first shot. I have an SDN-6 and on one mount I had a similar...

    Suppressors 300 blackout can issue

Ok - got it. That makes sense to me now. Your best long-term solution is to re-thread the AR. As AJWcotton pointed out a smith should be able to size it down without having to cut/loose length. I've tried out a couple adapters on various cans and projects. They work, but never quite...

    Suppressors 300 blackout can issue

I'm missing something.... Is your can 5/8x24 and your barrel 9/16x24. Is that correct?

My bad. You are absolutely correct. I meant to put June 10th to Sept 22nd. Will edit the original post. My last 2 Form 1s took 6+ months so this was great.
