    If youre talking about a full size (100%) IPSC target, I think it would do that at 1400 just fine. Although I have not tried it. I'm using a 66% and the max I've tried is 1255yds. 2 moa steel inside that has been easy and repeatable.

    What Rangefinder Under $800

    The Sig 2400 has the AB ballistic solver in it, but its a lot more than $800. The Sig 2200 doesn't even come close to the Leica 2700 performance. In terms of pure range finder, you're not gonna beat the Leica 2700b in that price range. I've seen them as low as $869.

    With Lanolin/alcohol- throw mine in the tumbler with rice for 1 hour... blow them out with the compressor just on case there may be something stuck inside. Every now and then I'll get a few pcs from inside the case come flying out and bounce around the garage at 9000FPS... Keeps it interesting.

    I have two, one with fastex and one with cobra buckles. I like them both, but feel a bit more secure running the metal cobra buckles on a 16+ pound rifle. I Haven't noticed any scuffs or scratches from the metal buckles.

    1.5 to 2 lbs on all my rigs.. tried a 12oz jewel once, didnt really care for it.
