Training Courses C.O.R.E intro to precision rifle class. Rock Lake WA

Scott is a great instructor and the Rock Lake facility is a great place to learn. I assisted Scott with a class there last year and everyone left with a lot more knowledge than they showed up with. Be ready for some crazy weather and even crazier wind as it's a rare day that the wind isn't...

    Range Report Hornady 7mm 180 ELD-M

I've shot them out to a mile now and for my they're more accurate than the Berger Hunting VLD bullets. I haven't compared them to the 180 Hybrid, but these things are stupid accurate out of my WSM

Hornady ELDM 7mm 180 grain BC question

The Hornady 4DOF online calculator is the closest I've come to matching up so far.

Hornady ELDM 7mm 180 grain BC question

The 180 seems to vary pretty greatly based on twist and from my testing bleeds BC pretty fast out of my 9 twist. I'm running them at 3085fps and had to turn down the BC to .345 to match up at a mile.

PRS Talk Tool Kit for PRS

I like the Fix-it-Sticks. Have been using them for almost two years now and they've been a great addition to my pack.

    6mm Dasher

Those high round count stages will kill a barrel for sure as will sustained high rates of fire throughout the day as you well know. There's a reason I limit my stages to reasonable round counts.

Rifle Scopes Sig Sauer Tango 6 3-18x44

I had one that I sold to a LE buddy. It's a really good little scope with a lot of good features. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

Advanced Marksmanship Practiscore or other match scoring software questions - simple point value impossible?

As a workaround, you can use the "match points entry" style of match where you enter the total points directly.

    6mm Dasher

I haven't used it personally, but have read it should be near identical to Varget.

    Gunsmithing best 6 Dasher reamer

This is what I'm using at the moment and it seems to be working pretty well. http://pacifictoolandgauge.com/6mm-635mm-nopix-showcart-/4198-6mm-dasher-reamer.html

    6mm Dasher

I know that'd be a lot hot in my gun. I'm only running 32.5gr Varget with 105s, and anything above 33.2 gives quite a good bit of pressure.

    6mm Dasher

2900-2940 does sound more likely for that bullet out of the Dasher, and should work pretty dang well at that. My current load is: 26" Proof 105 Hybrid jumping .010" 32.5gr Varget CCI450 Lapua Brass 2975fps

    6mm Dasher

You're getting 2970 out of the 110s !?! That's crazy good speed for a Dasher and more than I'm running with the 105s. Certainly a tough combo to beat.

    140 RDF's

Glad you got it sorted out. I ran them at 0.035" jump at 2800fps and they shot sub 1/4moa. I think a lot has to do with chamber/throat/bore geometry with these, but they do seem to shoot better when jumped. Also, I've found the .330g7 to be spot on, no reason to wait for Litz to make up...

Range Report Dasher with 105 RDF

It's a tough thing to walk away from, but customers come first in this business. I got some RDFs loaded up last night so hopefully tonight or tomorrow I can shoot them.

Range Report Dasher with 105 RDF

No, we're all but done with the team series for this year I believe. I found a box locally and am going to test them out this weekend.

Range Report Dasher with 105 RDF

Curious how yours runs with the RDFs. I'm planning on running them as well when they become available again.

Rifle Scopes New Mil-C NF on the way!!

I've been using the Mil-C for about a month or so now and I really like it. It's simple and clean, which is my preference in reticles and I'll buy a 7-35 if/when it's available with the Mil-C

    Wood chassis stock manufacture?

That would be my friend Tate Streater of Impact Precision. If he's using it, you know it's a solid piece of gear.
