    DTA SRS 308 with Surefire Muzzle Break?

    Re: DTA SRS 308 with Surefire Muzzle Break? looking at the picture of the surefire 338 muzzle break, I see that it overlaps the barrel. With the SRS 308 standard barrel being so short will the muzzle brake clear the handguard?

    I remember seeing a SRS 308 setup with a Surefire Muzzle Break here about 6 months ago. I'm thinking about doing the same thing but I recall that the thread on the 308 was something like 3/4x24. Which Surefire muzzle break will work with the 308? Post some pictures please.

    DTA Scope rings and USO SN3 3-17 TPAL

    I'm trying to mount a USO Sn3 3-17 with EREK knob using the DTA 34mm mount. It is a real tight fit, so tight that the EREK knob bottoms out on the back ring. Anyone else running this setup? What did you do to clear the EREK knob?
