Re: Mammoth Sniper Challenge - Park City, KY Ouch (I chuckle every time I write that..), Best advice I could give you is: - Know your zero and your dope. Try to shoot your rifle at as many distance increments as possible so you know that at 500 yards you need X clicks up from your zero to...

    Load for 260rem using RL17 95g 123g & 140ish??

Re: Load for 260rem using RL17 95g 123g & 140ish?? Damn those are huge swings! I've shot it from about 50-95 degrees and haven't seen anything like that. But I've heard others say it as well so I guess I've been lucky. That's also a good reason to do a proper OCW or ladder when working up a...

Re: Load for 260rem using RL17 95g 123g & 140ish?? I've been working with RL17 and 142SMKs for about 5 months now. I've been very pleased with it. I started out playing with this combo plus various combinations of 4350 and 4831sc and 139 Lapuas as well. Rifle is custom, built on a Surgeon...

Mammoth Sniper Challenge - Park City, KY

Re: Mammoth Sniper Challenge - Park City, KY 45.308 - I wouldn't worry about being "unintelligent" at a competition. There will be lots of shooters there who have never shot a major one and you definitely won't be clogging up the works. I also know a number of people are coming without a...

Mammoth Sniper Challenge - Park City, KY

Re: Mammoth Sniper Challenge - Park City, KY Hi Dust_Remover, Yes a mil-dot master is fine. The only thing you can't use is a laser range finder. So most will use their scope reticle (MIL or MOA) and then either use a mil-dot master, calculator or printed chart to determine the distance.

Mammoth Sniper Challenge - Park City, KY

Re: Mammoth Sniper Challenge - Park City, KY Hi Tom, The Hulk should be fine but if the name is an indication of weight you might not want to hump it on some stages. And thanks for the offer to sponsor. Shoot me a PM so I can get the details and get your logo up on the sponsor page. -Mike

Rifle Scopes Paralax on USO not correct to markings
