    Re: Rem 700 splitting case necks all of a sudden... The Winchester Brass in my Rem 700 22/250 did the same after 3-4 firings. Split Necks. Annealing solved my problem. Also the split neck cases were the flyers in my groups.

    260 Brass Forming

    Re: 260 Brass Forming thanks for the info. this is my first 260 cal in many years and my experience with the remington brass has not been good in other calibers,, loose primer pockets are common. just searching for solutions. i've had excellent results with Lapua Brass in all calibers i've tried.

    Re: Gun for the Mrs. the 7/08 in the model 7 rem kicks more than the 700 model. the 6br/8twist is an excellent choice but you have to reload. 243 probably gets the most votes, you can't go wrong with it. plenty ammo everywhere or reload em.
