    I’m planning on running this on multiple host, mainly 308/6.5 creedmoor and 5.56/7.62x39 semi auto rifles. My goal is to “tune” the rifle once and run the crap out of them. I’m interested in a low back pressure can so I don’t have to hack and cough when hog hunting.

    Reloading for AR-10 308 Win. Which one is your choice: Single Stage or Progressive Press?

    I have both. I do my build up for accuracy on the single stage press. After I have a verified load, I can make a bunch on the Dillion 550. Only time I vary from that is my hunting rounds. For them I want total control of the process for ethical hunting. YMMV

    It’s unobtanium right now. I heard it was because Sierra raised the prices of the SMK bullet to the point it was unprofitable for MagTec to make anymore. I have tried Frontier 75 grain match in my Geissele 16” Super Duty with very good results.

    And need a lighter spring. I’m getting occasional ejection but BCG does not come back far enough to lock back on empty mag or strip a new round. This DD5V1 is way under gassed compared to other AR10s I have shot before.

    It was a PWS H4 and a springco red spring for an AR10. Made the DD5 a musket. Would not push the bolt back far enough to eject. Rifle was sold used as is. Seller is footing the parts bill for me to make it work.

    I bought a DD5V1 used. The buffer in it was a PWS H4 that was too heavy/ long to let the rifle cycle properly. I’m going to have to het a new one, and wondered if the OEM one was 2.5” long. If anyone has replaced the syste, what did you get? thanks in advance
