Re: What would you buy? Savage 12 Palma if you dont mind it being single shot. Well he did say the most accurate for around 1500 just the gun. just sayn. But its hard to beat the 5r or the SPS Tactical.

Savage MKII build (pic heavy) UPDATE-FINALLY DONE!

Re: Savage MKII build (pic heavy) I'd go with the 16xSS. I have the 20xSS on my Remmy sps 308 and I've had the chance to shoot my buddies MKII FV with a 10xSS. The 10x is great if you plan on staying within 100 yards but the 16x is a lot nicer if you're planning on stretching her out to say...

Different ammo for 100m than 50m?

Re: Different ammo for 100m than 50m? Same thing here too, CCI subs will shoot almost single hole in my MKII savage with maybe 1 flyer at 50yds. When I got out to 100yds CCIs look like a shotgun pattern but the Wolf target shoots moa.
