That is out of spec to both STANAG and MIl-STD. In both cases they can be 5.23mm(.2059") and .206" respectively.

also with this adapter I could rebarrel in .223 or 6 br if I really wanted to since they don't have these options for the platform now.

MDT has 12rd aics magazines and they run great. You can also put an extended base on them and stretch it to 14.

I have a box of probably 40 aics mags and as far as I know those stop at 10rds. I'm hoping to swing this in a prs match or two to spice things up from my typical rig. Worse case is I go back to it being a dedicated 338nm platform and I only have a small hole in the side.

So I really wanted to run aics mags in my axsr so I thought I would give the axmc adapter a go. Looks like I need to drill a 5.5mm hole like the Mac has to position the adapter but beyond that it seems to do the trick and get me the ability to run 12rd mags. I’m 3d scanning everything now to...

    5.56 vs .30 cal Suppressor for 5.56

I think he is looking at gas coming though the bolt and or bolt velocity but I haven't paid close enough attention to it.

    5.56 vs .30 cal Suppressor for 5.56

this graph is in order of absolute suppression rating at the ear and muzzle. The data is very subjective because it doesn't translate to hearing safe levels which typically not many 5.56 cans are at the ear from port pop.

Krieger_Tactics: Long Range Precision Marksmanship - Part 2: INTRODUCTION TO HOLDING

I can't take this thread serious man. We went from 7 yard zeros, to end of world asset recovery, to call signs, back to mil dots, now we are talking long range 16" gas guns.

    Suppressors AR15 Suppressor

If I were building a suppressed ar, think Mk18. I would be picking cans in this order. 1.CGS Helios QD but running the dead air keymo 2. Dead Air Sandman-K or S (I'd prefer the K simply to keep length down) 3.Energetic Vox also on the Keymo. all of these will let you run 30 cal stuff through...

    Suppressors AR15 Suppressor

what track record are you referring to? Ability to win a military solicitation? I can assure you they aren't the best out there by a number of metrics and having shot one I would be looking at CGS/Dead air, etc...

Quietest Suppressed AR-15 you could put together is...

pulling the charging handle to the rear and just releasing it into battery on a standard ar pattern rifle is roughly as loud as a suppressed 22 bolt gun (114-115dB). Suppressed gas guns measured by the mil std at the muzzle are in the 135-145 range on a 14.5 - 16" barrel. Port pop puts it high...

Quietest Suppressed AR-15 you could put together is...

Its hard to get quiet in an AR. You can suppress the muzzle noise but you will still always have port pop.

Why we can't have nice things,

supply issues appear to be almost entirely domestic. Not nearly the same demand for this stuff elsewhere.
