    I would look at Accurate Ordnance. They do awesome jobs, and have great customer service. Plus they are pretty quick. Of course there are other great smith's out there too.

    I thought about replacing the "tacti-cool" mount also, I heard it would help if you were experiencing accuracy issues. But I am not a fan of savage actions so i traded it off for a Remington XCR 338 lapua.

    it was built by surgeon. When I first received the rifle it has a residue in the bore. I ran a boresnake through it to clean the residue. Does anyone know if surgeon puts anything in the barrel? Or even krieger?
