    IMO: today I compared optics. Zeiss 4.5x14x50mm vs. nightforce 3.5x15x54mm. I am going to have to say that the Zeiss is by far superior in clearlity than nightforce. I felt as if the functions were comperible. I own both optics and I have to say I am happy with both of them but if had to choose...

    Does barrel length make a difference on 0-500 yrd shots out of a .308. i understand slow buring powder velocity blah blah but what i want to know if i bought an off the shelf 700 .308 with a 20" bbl vs. a 28" bbls with off the shelf say federal premium ammo does barrel lenght make a difference?
