    Re: Ackley Imp I got a 8-280 AI and am building a .280 AI but in my experience all my cases fire better when formed to the guns chamber. No matter if they are A.I. or not. or were you just showing off? But I do like the velocity of the 8-280 w 180's 3000 fps. which one are you doing?

    Re: Less powder more velocity? Was the seating depth the same? if you seated deeper and the volume was decreased you can gain velocity also if you seat longer but you're in the lands( some people say jam) that can increase pressure and velocity as well hope this helps.

    Re: 7 mm. Rem. About the same as any case, the hotter you go, the faster they fail. Out of the powders you mentioned I'd go with the 4831 and 160's for a g.p. load.
