    If I researched correctly 800 decrees to anneal copper and lead melts at 621. Does this effect things later down range? Guessing plastic melts even sooner.

    Were you dialing your wind corrections? If you have a reticle in your scope it may benefit you to just hold off with the reticle and send the followup shot a bit faster.

    I'm sure wherever LL decides to host the SHC 2014 it will be one hell of a shoot. Driving through Douglas, it looks like the oil and gas is even crazier than last year so I am betting motels would be tough once again.

    Personally, I like it. I would run it until the finish is beat to hell then decide if I changed it or leave it the same. It's a gun for christs sake, it's gonna get scratched, gouged, beat to piss. Paint jobs no matter how pretty won't make the gun shoot any better.

    How in the hell will that help the OP? That statement is about as useful am me saying "I love tits". As said above, either sell or trade your trigger. I believe all aftermarket 700 triggers will fit that receiver.

    I'm not sure how this plays out whether you zero at 100 or 500 you will still be using the adjustment in your scope. You don't get more or less determined by zero range.
