    I wondered the same thing until a guy showed up at the local 1000yd shoots with a savage pistol in 7 SAUM. He never placed but had 15-20" groups at 1000 off of a bipod. I would wager he is more than lethal on deer/hogs out to 500yds plus he always seemed to have a blast!
