    Is it safe?

Re: Is it safe? I do it all the time. As a batch of powder starts running low, I ALWAYS blend it with the new batch. Ask yourself this. Although the manufacturer's caution us to basically start low and re-develop a new load with every batch of new powder-due to potential variances in burn...

    Help with base scope mount

Re: Help with base scope mount No idea what the screw dimension is. But you have a couple of choices. First, use Kroil or another penetrant to soak in around the fastener. If the remnants of the screw are jagged, you can use a steel pick and try to unscrew it. OR, using a small punch, try to...

Forster bench priming tool- Any Count?

Re: Forster bench priming tool- Any Count? I have one and use it all the time-it has the adjustable jaws for shell holders and the primer feed works fine with 338LM. You still have to load the feed tube one by one. My guess it would suck with little cases.

Re: Liability: Seller shp's you item w/o insurance That's why there is a GOOD GUY list. During the transaction the buyer and seller work out a deal. I have sold numerous guns and have always included INSURANCE with shipping. Talk about penny wise and dollar foolish.

    338 Lapua brass

Re: 338 Lapua brass Just buy the Lapua. I've gone over 20 reloads and the primer pockets are still tight and no signs of pending head separation. I've loaded over 6K rounds of 338LM. Seriously, Lapua brass is worth every penny.

    Help! trg-42 .338lm

Re: Help! trg-42 .338lm Stop cleaning it and let the barrel settle in. If you can get it shooting well at 300yds-you'll probably see decent results at longer ranges. I don't think your expectations are too high. .75moa at least has been my experience with the TRG42. It IS possible that you...

    Help! trg-42 .338lm

Re: Help! trg-42 .338lm Good groups at 100 yards with a 338LM prove nothing. They will not automatically translate to good accuracy at long range. .5moa at 100 does NOT equal .5 moa at 750 or 1000 yards. Cleaning every shot, IMO, is a waste of ammo and time. I've never performed the alleged...
