    Suppressors Form 4 wait time

Has anyone tried calling the NFA Branch lately? I can't seem to get through.

New to the forum, Discussion on Barrett Ex Rings.

I have a 110FCP HS precision in .330LM. The factory savage 20MOA Base is actually an EGW 0 MOA base that comes on those models. I added a Badger base to mine and I measured both with micrometer calipers to confirm. The problem is your base, I don't know if you could make it work with rings or...

    Feedback on rear bags

I guess what I'm asking is, what do these bags add that a rice sock doesn't?

    Feedback on rear bags

Ever since I've been shooting, I've used a sock with dry rice in it for a rear bag (it's a green army sock that the dryer spared, so it's tactical lol). I've been looking at several commercially made and the DIY thread rear bags. What about them would be better than my field expedient rear bag...

Home invasion, MMA fighter fights back

They would have met one of mine or my fiancé's personnel suppression devices as they crossed the threshold. No testimony required. But good for this guy, I hope he comes out of this a labeled a good man that rightfully protected his family an not a dirtbag, as is sometimes the case with media.

There's a CW5 at the safety center that shoots .338lm, .308, and 6.5CM and is a long range instructor and very experienced hand loader. You'll know him if you see him at the POW range. Pick his brain. He taught me a lot when I was in flight school.

National Guard Soldier Needs Some Gear Help!!!!!!!!!

The TAG will see everything that comes across the IG's desk. They have weekly meeting with staff and key personnel in most cases. Your commander will know this. Usually the mention of IG will get peoples asses in gear for fear of a bad OER, which unfortunately, is where most motivation comes...

National Guard Soldier Needs Some Gear Help!!!!!!!!!

Brother, I'm a CW2 and one of my crewchiefs had his vehicle broken into and his IOTV and plates were stolen. Insurance is going to pay but only after a statement of charges is paid by him. It's a mess. What I would do is to have your supply guy start a FLIPL, get sworn statements, and if the...

    Improving bolt lift DIY

I'm guessing that the 220 scope ring lapping compound that I have would be a little too coarse for the threads?

What to get my Sniper Brother before he deploys

If you want to get him something he can use operationally, wait until he's there to see what hasn't been provided already and send that. I had a blast with a bunch of squirt guns from the dollar store while I was over. It's the little things. Give us enough free time and we will invent ways to...

Military officers or LEO's I have a request.

I've been in the army 10 years and counting. I was enlisted for the first 7 and now I am a Chief Warrant Officer and an Aviator. It is by far the best career choice that I could have made and I don't regret one bit of it. Being a pilot is the best job in the army in my opinion. I'm still a...

Shout out to Ceylon and Delta Outdoorsman

I ordered a skid plate the other day and it just showed up in the mail today. I was surprised to see a personalized thank you card from Ceylon in the box. It's that kind of individual attention to even a small order that will keep me coming back. Thanks!

    pistol postion in rifle comp.

I have both, and I say hip as well. I started out my tour in Afghanistan with a thigh rig and within two weeks was back to my safari land hip holster. The thigh rigs are only good if you are rappelling, scuba diving, suppressed, etc.
