    Hello, try to check in Kestrel folowing: gun-MV-MV temp. If you have filled for what temp you have muzzle velocity table. Normaly after FW update is this default OFF. Maybe it helps.

    Yes, you are right. AB measures AJ but without wind you can not calculate AJ. Kestrel does not need any other device to fully working.

    Kestrel is waterproof. Kestrel can measure wind and direction of wind. And Kestrel can calculate aerodynamic jump. When you have Kestrel, you have all Custom Drags. In mobile version you need to buy CD for each bullet.

    When you input G7, it is valid only for one exact speed of bullet. With longer distances G7 value decrease. So G7 is not good and same for whole trajectory of bullet. But Custom Drag is value measured and predicted for whole trajectory of bullet. Is better to use Custom Drag then G7.

    There is only ONE 300gr bullet from Lapua in all databases. But Applied Ballistics say G7 is 0.393 and Lapua say that G7 is 0.368. Must choose and test in your own rifle.

    My experience is: no playing with BC! Better to measure bullet drop between ballistic application and reality. Then use drop calibration which increase or decrease muzzle speed.
