    Annealeez modifications

I got mine working with a swirl torch, but no luck with the original torch. I’m running the swirl at about 10 psi, otherwise rather flames are too ragged. One issue I have with the swirl torch is that the cartridge get back into the flame for a bit as it cycles around the lower wheel. Have...

    Annealeez modifications

Ah ok - I follow you, I think. I'll give it a whirl. thanks By the way, the best modification I made to my annealeez is some black electrical tape over the power switch cover. That blue light was burning my retinas.

    Annealeez modifications

I finally got my goss regulator hooked up and had the same problem black5.3 and Sheldon were having -- cant' get enough flow to light the torch. Any chance you guys could give me some advice on how to remove the valves? Did you just whale away with a metal drill bit? Id be especially...

method to mark brass for number of times reloaded.

Ziplocks freezer bags with the slide locking doohickey works good for me. I have tons of different bags so it’s a lot cheaper than any kind of bins, amp do it’s easy to write on w sharpie all the pertinent facts

Need help with die selection. What I'm doing is not working.

I'm on the same program as BurnOut, except that I get the Forster FL die honed out so that it only sizes the interior diameter of the neck .003" smaller than bullet diameter, then use the 21st century expander mandrel to widen it by .001", resulting in a perfect two thou of neck tension. OP...

Need help with die selection. What I'm doing is not working.

Right I forgot you can do the adapter thing, which never made sense to me. The shell holder jaws are one of the best thing about the co-ax. But OP said he’s actually using a Lee. BTW PAC have you sized any w the FL die on the co-ax without the expander ball?

Selecting .300 WM Brass for Reloading? Brand etc?

I would be cautious about shooting a zillion rounds with a 300 wm, even with a brake. I shoot mine suppressed which helps a lot with felt recoil and concussive blast. But still I wanna make sure I don't get roughed up while training and develop a flinch. So basically what I'm saying is...

Selecting .300 WM Brass for Reloading? Brand etc?

Hornady is ok but if you want to start out right go with Norma. Drilled flash holes, consistent neck thickness and overall consistency. You can get the Hornady brass there, but it takes work and tools you may not have. I ran Hornady brass for my 300 wm for years but finally said F it and...

Lee Classic Cast or Lee Classic Turret?

As between the two, I'd for sure get the turret. But if its just for knocking out primers and other misc non precision tasks, how about just a Lee Breech lock press? https://www.midwayusa.com/product/807734/lee-breech-lock-reloader-single-stage-press

    Competition seating dies

+1 for Forster Micro. Redding comp is great too but I do not see a reason for the additional price. Personally Ive not had great success with Whidden seating dies, but others have

Build up at case neck shoulder junction. Need help

The old saying is: "when you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras." Thinking your problem might be the GAP is like thinking albino midget transsexual unicorns. Going into the shoulder with the 21st century tools never made sense to me. I know the blade is angled up to accommodate the...

Depriming die for 6.5 creedmoor lapua

Yes I'm using the squirrel daddy pins with lapua 6.5x46 brass. They are tapered so you gotta be careful how far down you let them stick through the die. I adjusted it slowly so it was just barely pushing out the primer, then adjusted it down until it finally pushed the primer all the way out...
