    16-18 inch shorty rifles

    I'm getting ready to order a short 16"-17" 308 barrel and I was wondering if I should go with a faster twist for a little more stability with the reduced velocity. I plan on running this suppressed, but not subsonic. I'm leaning towards a 5 groove 9 twist right now.

    Best switch barrel action/bolt?

    The nice thing about the current Bighorn Actions is that you can do either shouldered or barrel nut. You'll still need an action wrench though. I will say I've never had to send a variable shoulder barrel back, but I have had to send a shouldered pre-fit back for not headspacing correctly.
