**2014 JC Steel Target Challenge, Sponsored by Seekins Precision

I'm new to this game. Had a great time shooting this match but I personally watched George hold pressure against the foot of the guy who finished first to steady the platform stage. I don't know the shooters name but he was anounced as the match winner. I wasn't going to get involved in this...

I've shot sgm's targets. 338 shouldn't be a problem. They're built like a tank. Sent from my HTC6500LVW using Tapatalk

    Load development in a Box

I like that set up. Looks like I have a new project to build. I'm thinking a toolbox handle on top would make it easy to carry to and from the truck. Sent from my HTC6500LVW using Tapatalk

I'll be at the memorial match again this year. For those who think they don't have the right rifle, last year a fifteen year old girl finished in the middle of the pack with an AR. It's a great first match to learn what you need/want in a rifle and gear. My back up rifle is a savage 10 308 in a...

I'm good on varget but will be on the dry side next week if anyone needs me to pick this up from seekers i can (if he can meet between snoqualmie pass and the tri cities, that's the route I'm taking over).

What did you use to paint your rifle?

I used rust-oleum with the stone textured finish. just painted it on my boyds stock for a savage 22. I'm not sure how well this paint holds up but hopefully it will last a while.

Thanks Justin. Called them and they only have varget now. I'm good on varget but if anyone needs some they said they still had some left.

I'm ok with accurate 4350 but i prefer H4350 but can't find either anywhere. I picked up some IMR 4831 today. I'm not a fan of imr usually but wagners (on pacific between 512 & tacoma) had a lot of it in stock. They also had some h 380 & 414 & win 760 if anyone is looking for those.

Thanks for the help guys. I don't have many details on the match, other than In-Motion targets will have their mover there and its a two day team match. I might end up going with two loads (100 rounds with h4350 & 100 with r17 or varget). Thanks again.

Looks like I'm shooting a match in Montana next and I need a pound of 4350 (or more). Does anyone know of any local shops that have some? If not I'll have to work up a load with vv550 or superformance. I have two pounds each of those.

Blurry. It's a memorial match for SGT Matt Karstetter. The procedes from the match are going to his kids college fund. it is listed in the tactical match section (i think). If you can make it i have room in my truck. There aren't a lot of shooters signed up as of today so if any of the...
