Hunting & Fishing Deer Hunting with a 6.5 Creedmoor Questions

My father's pride & Joy is a 6.5-06AI & a good friend of mine is running the Gibbs. Good looking cartridges & they have been pretty easy to get accuracy from. Nothing wrong with the Gibbs. t

Hunting & Fishing Deer Hunting with a 6.5 Creedmoor Questions

I think you'll be in heaven with the SAUM. I run a 6.5WSM. Strictly a hunting stick. 130grn G05 Cutting Edge @3400fps. Mule deer @ 655yds & 'lope @ a measly 370yds- One & done. Gotta love the 6.5. I picked up a Creedmoor this year as well, 600fps slower but crazy accurate little bugger...

New RWS built 6.5 creedmoor Folding manner Badger M2013 action

    Movie Theater New Robocop trailer

I see the brought the ED 209 back, that part looks cool. The Robo-part of RoboCop looks kinda faggy, too much Iron Man IMHO. I'll probably watch it.... when it comes out on NetFlix. t

Movie Theater The Ghost and The Darkness

. I have the book, great read, JH Patterson IIRC. In somewhat reverse of what you stated, I started with Capstick, I have nearly all of them. Went to Taylor & have an original copy of "Pondoro:Last of the Ivory hunters". From there to Patterson & Rourke. I do believe Capstick & Rourke...

Gunsmithing Sneak Peak at LongRifles Inc LH Tikka T3 Build "more pics"

The good ole .243 is a great cartridge, good choice. The T-5 comment was a jab to Chad's ribs. He's got a non-adjustable Lefty T-5 of mine on a Stiller 7-saum he's installing adjustable hardware on & painting up for me :) t

Gunsmithing Sneak Peak at LongRifles Inc LH Tikka T3 Build "more pics"

Rock on, it's nice to see something outside the norm & lefty to boot! Good looking rig OP, what's it chambered in? Episode #2: Left Hand Manners T-5 adjustable cheek piece install ;) hint, hint. t

    Gunsmithing Informal Poll

I'm down for a profit cap in the S/M size. Will gladly pay extra for a Made In USA tag. I don't usually wear short sleeve shirt..... Now.... Where have I seen the "I Test On Animals" slogan again?.... :D I don't really give 2 shits about cost as long as it's in line with the overall...

Long actions, Non-magnum LA rounds, who's running them?

One of my favorite rigs is a LA 700 chambered in 6mm-284. 107's at over 3400fps puts a smile on my face, accuracy came in at 3450ish so I stopped there. Also shoot an old Savage 110 in 6mm Ackley, screwed up and put a 1-12 on it :( t

AK-74 vs. Brown Bear outside of Anchorage

God I hope he's not one of them-there tree people (being employed in the Oil Industry might have a negative effect on his longevity in the area). I have not witnessed that particular fair. Last time I was there I believe there was some type of hill climb going on... April I believe. t

    Best bullets

I used the 300SMK as the 3.600 AICS mag I was using didn't play well with the 300grn Booger. I wouldn't mind trying out the 285 HNDY either. t

AK-74 vs. Brown Bear outside of Anchorage

Now THAT is funny. One of my co-workers has a cabin above Girdwood. Being a Wyo redneck, that place made the hair on the back of my neck stand up.... hippies give me the heebie-jeebies. t

    .375 GSC 414 VS CEB 425 at 2050 yards

Thanks Greg, Which Model bullet is that? I briefly looked on CEB's website but didn't find it. The L13 or 402grn is the heaviest I could find. t
