    I found a good load for my DPMS Lr308 with 155 SMK's so, I thought I would see if they would out perform my 168 SMK load for my REM 700. My go to load before this is, 45.7 grn of Varget, 168 SMK, CCI 200 primers. I get about 2630 fps out that load. The rifle started it's life as a REM 700 VLS...

    Re: American eagle .308 M1A The box I ran through my DPMS LR308 wouldn't group smaller than 2moa at 100 yrds. And the box I ran through my rem700 wouldn't shoot less than 1.5 moa at 100. And the primers are crimped. So, I wouldn't waste the $18, if your looking for an alterative to FGMM.
