    Re: Which rings for my Savage TRR I will try to measure my rings when I get home. The original LRS scopes came with lower rings while the newer ones come with rings more useful for an AR application. I have the LRS and a TR at home so I should be able to get you in the ballpark.

    Re: Out of lower travel I believe he stated it's a 308. A 308 at 400 yards does not need a 20MOA base, put a 10MOA or 0MOA base on it and you will solve your problem. According to my calculations, your 20MOA base with your particular scope should get you out to around 800-900 yards.
