Model 70 Bolt Will Not Come Out

Maybe try and squeeze the trigger and pull it out?? Idk my mossberg .22 doesn't have a lever but I have to remove my peep sight and hold trigger down to remove the bolt.

    New ARC Mausingfield

It will be okay! By time I get back I'll have enough for the stock, barrel, and trigger! Next I'll save for the scope and rings. I'm hoping itll be complete in 2021. I bet you wish you could :)

    Winchester Model 70 Super Grade

I mean you can check out hill country. I used to have one of their rifles and they use wood. They looks amazing. Shoot great too. Mine was in .270, stiller action, benchmark barrel, AAA+ English Walnut, they guarantee 1/2 MOA. Mine was a custom genesis. Expensive but worth it if you love the...

    New ARC Mausingfield

As of right now as it sits lift is stiff right now, and the throw is smooth as shit. but until I get the barrel, stock and trigger, I won't know for sure on the lift. I'm sure itll be easier on a stock.

    New ARC Mausingfield

I've gotten my hands on the closed top ARC mausingfield, it is made for a detachable mag, and its serial is 00005. I've attached a few pictures to show the ejection port. Also sorry for my potato quality phone. Best I could do today. Build is settled...

    New ARC Mausingfield

Hey man, I just checked on this paperwork and it says this : Serial number or notes: M7-TLR-D-00005 BUT THEN down below it shows : Product: M7-TLR-535-20 Mausingfield Bolt Action(Closed top, detachable mag, Right, 20 MOA, 5.8 MRAD long [3.78" mag length] .535 [i.e. 300 win mag]) yet the action...

    New ARC Mausingfield

Damn. I was hoping for a large shank because of that extra 2 inches from proof research. ;) I'm going to use SWVAguns to build my rifle once I get all the parts I believe since he has worked on mausingfields before unless someone can point me to someone better

    New ARC Mausingfield

Bought it straight from ARC. They just released this model as far as I know. M7-TLR-D-00005 is mine. I talked to Jason and he asked if I wanted the closed top like the older ones and if we had enough people thatd I'd get the closed top instead of open top.

    New ARC Mausingfield

yes, I saw that. Mines 00005 so it is for a large shank barrel.

    New ARC Mausingfield

I'm pretty sure it's the newer version as this is the only other thing I found on the website about the closed top: Closed Top Version Does not support BDL bottom metal. Rem 700 style mag well accepts AICS style mags (Long action accepts CIP length magazines).

Thank you. I'm trying to build a dream rifle that's mine and not a prebuilt one.

Thank you! I'm really leaning into the PRC because I want to get into the rabbit hole of reloading. I also need an AR again and practice reloading for that then step up to the magnum reloading. Not sure if it'd make a difference.
