    Re: Long wait I was quoted a 12 week time frame and ended up with it at 18. I fell in love with it at my door. Have you called about it? most numbers are accessible. Be patient, Christmas comes one time a year. Just let Santa know you have been patient and he will get it to you.

    Re: Barrel Twist for 20" .308 - shooting 178 AMAX Honestly, my best load was 155 Palma over Varget out of a 1/10 twist out to 300. It handled Hornady pretty well too at all distances. 20 inch pipe.

    Re: Changes at Manners Composite Stocks I got home today and found it sitting at my front door. It is everything I wanted and more. Everything dropped right in. The threaded Savage rear trigger screw was an unexpected touch. Thanks Manners.

    Re: Rifle comb height help... I made a karsten look alike out of aluminum. Then added foam to outside and Velcro to inside. Then put loop side on stock. Nothing too permanent, and it looks nice. Foam was 1/8 in. With glue on it already.

    Re: Vortex PST illumination issues???? If you have one, 8 is probably optimal setting. Mine does the same thing. I don't have a problem with it right now. If it pops up, I will worry about it then.

    Re: New to long range. Looking for a good scope Vortex performed well out to 300 at local bench rest range. I shoot the ffp 4-16 and could almost make out 308 holes. 2 or 3 in a group were possible. I love it.
