    WHOA... What happened here?!?!?

Re: WHOA... What happened here?!?!? That's kind of BS how the name of the company is protected. If I were in the market for a custom action, this is something I would hope that to factor into my decision before committing to a purchase.

    Saber Defence Ind.

Re: Saber Defence Ind. Sabre Defence is an authorized DoD contractor who provides complete M16 rifles for use by the US military. They were awarded the contract last year. Although many other companies out there claim to be "gov contractors" or providers of mil contract parts such as...

    155's/IMR4895/GAP rifle load

Re: 155's/IMR4895/GAP rifle load 45.6 IMR 4895 and 155 scenar in Lapua brass is a popular and well vetted load. I am getting a consistent 2850 out of a 24" barrel with extremely low (single digit) ES and SD and less than 1" grouping at 300.

    AIAE or GAP Crusader ?

Rifle Scopes Q's regarding USO or S&B for SRS

Re: Q's regarding USO or S&B for SRS I would pick S&B simply for the fact that the glass is much better than USO and the clicks on the turrets are way more positive than on a USO. Durability is debatable but the USO is definitely heavier.

Rifle Scopes best 10x fixed power

Re: best 10x fixed power S&B 10x42 PM2 is the best fixed 10 I have looked through. I felt that my ST10 was too heavy and bulky for what it was.

    Suppressors on duty side arm

Re: on duty side arm Check the approved lists, I highly doubt the XD is gonna be on it. From a maintenance standpoint the gun is a turd: when it breaks, its gotta go back to Springfield, not even a Springfield-trained LEO armorer is certified to fix 100% of the gun. You cannot fast fire it...

Rifle Scopes USO ST-10x44 w/ERGO vs SWFA SS 10x42HD

Re: USO ST-10x44 w/ERGO vs SWFA SS 10x42HD I have recently looked through a SS-HD and owned several USOs previously. To be honest, as far as glass quality goes, I would say they are about equal with the SS maybe having a slight edge. What's better about the USO is the reticles, knobs and...

    Rifle Scopes USO Question

Re: USO Question The reticle change is $400 plus the $86 cost for the reticle. At that price you would be better off selling your scope and buying a new one rather than paying extra.

How good (or not) is PMC .223 Brass?

Re: How good (or not) is PMC .223 Brass? The primer pockets are really aggressively crimped. After running them through a reamer about 40% of primers still failed to seat or were crushed. I would recommend that you swage them and also hit it with a deburring tool afterwards.

Rifle Scopes Someone needs to snag this

Re: Someone needs to snag this It looks like it is mil/moa (1/2 MOA EREK knob with mil reticle). No offense to the seller but $1650 isn't really that awesome of a price for a moa/mil non-illuminated USO that has been painted. I sold a 2008 model unpainted SN3 3-17x ERGO with MIL/MOA...

    Arktis Drag Bag review +PICS

After reading a recent drag bag thread, I decided to post a review of the Arktis bag I have been using for the past year. The bag is the standard issue drag bag of the British Army for their AI L96 sniper rifles and the quality and durability really shows. Let me start off by saying that I am...

    Lapua 185gr D46's....

Re: Lapua 185gr D46's.... In the 2nd edition Lapua manual, the loads for the 185 scenar and the 185 D46 are the same (3.256 OAL with d46). It also recommends a 1/10 twist to shoot these accurately. Here are a couple of the max/starting loads with Hodgdon powders: H4895: 41.2 - 47.1 H414...
