    Re: Red dot positioning Red dot sights have unlimited eye relief so its really up to you where you want to mount it. The reason why many people mount it at the forward end of the upper receiver is so they have space behind for a magnifier should the need arise to mount one.

    Re: My NF is bleeding... All scopes are usually filled with grease to catch lint and keep the internals lubricated. If it is hot, some probably just melted and seeped out. Nothing to worry about I have had several scopes from different makers that it has happened to in extremely hot weather.
