155gr Matchking VS 155gr Matchking Palma???

The bottom target was shot with the 155 Palmas at 300 yds. 45.6gr Varget, If I hadn't bucked that one shot at the top left it would have been a .3 MOA group easily. As it was it's only a .5 group

    Is precisionreloading.com gtg?

Good people to deal with. I've placed many orders with them. They ship fast and if there is a problem they go the extra mile to solve it. The only thing to watch out for is the shipping calculator on their website. They might have fixed it by now but it used to give really outrageous shipping...

    Target Cameras

At what range did you shoot at? I've been holding off buying one because of problems that have been reported on Amazon and Sinclair. It 's hard to find independent reviews. I don't believe a review that comes from someone who was "supplied" with the unit to test. I want to hear from ppl who...

I seem to remember reading on the Bullseye site that they offer insurance just for that purpose. Camera gets shot and they replace it. Don't know if they still offer it or how much it is but I would think it would be worth having

    Yet another OCW test

I'd like to think that I'm starting to get the hang of reading these things but it's always good to get more opinions. I was unhappy with the accuracy I was getting with my Savage FTR 308 shooting 175gr pills. I tried SMKs and Berger LRBTs and while it will shoot sub MOA (.75 @ 300yds) with...

    2000MR + 308 + 155 SMK Palma

Anybody loading this combo? I have a jug of 2000mr sitting around and I just got in some 155s and thought I'd save my Varget for other loads. Sure would appreciate some load info to get me started.

new to a bench source annealing machine

I use the Anneal-Rite. It's easy and I can do 100 cases as fast as a machine can. Definitely use the 750 templaq inside the case mouth.

Redding Competition VLD seater stems - LONG or STANDARD?

It depends on the caliber. I know that for .308 win you need the long version. Same for 300 wsm. The 30-06 uses the standard one. 223 Rem uses the long one also. That's the only ones I know for sure.

At 1.900" the bullet is just touching the lands. I did the seating depth test recommended by Berger but I expanded it to start at .030 jammed all the way out to .080 jump and my rifle seems to like it just touching. I was also able to shoot one group at 300 yds before I ran out of time. 23.8 gr...

Working on y'alls suggestion I shot a few groups today. The target is self explanatory and I added my chrono results for the "winning" groups. If you ever wondered what difference the choice of primer makes, here's your answer.

No I didn't. I use a magnetospeed and it changes the poi. Now that I've had my thoughts verified I'll do what was suggested and put together some rnds from 23.6 to 23.9 using both wolf and br4s and check speed and ES/SD. QL says I'll see somewhere in the 2950 range. Plenty fast.

OCW test results opinions needed UpDated

I used Wolf primers and at 24 gr they were starting to crater. I'm going to switch to BR4s and starting at 23.4 gr work up again. I agree with you about more powder/velocity but not with wolfs. Of course if I don't find another accuracy node going faster is useless. I've always had great...
