actually scratch that - I was referring to CMR-W reticle which is more $$$
Still Mk6 has better glass, very nice turrets and more magnification on top
NF has illumination - do you plan to shoot in low light?
Mk6 all the way. Love scope and reticle and it has no downsides.
Extra magnification is always a plus - better to have and not need
Have NF 2.5-10x32 and they are good very light scopes as well
Just Mk6 is better
Now if you want an excellent inexpensive tactical sope with 30 mm tube and great turrets, mildot reticle, SFP and great glass - Bushnell Elite Tactical 6500 2.5-16.
Sometimes can be found on fleabay for $550-600 and is a good scope
+1 on IOR and Leopold Mk6 - have both
Leopold can't fit in your budget if you need illuminated scope.
IOR can be found used for under $1500 with illuminated FFP or for under $1300 for non illuminated FFP or illuminated SFP
I love Mk6 though and I really like their reticle although MP-8...

have a rezero table for each
Have a hunting Blaser with a few barrels - scope for each barrel sitting on top of barrel...
F7201A is decent dual purpose scope but I would not buy another body to use as a day scope :(
Everything has a bit of the yellowish tint and glass is not on the pair with scopes you can buy used for $900 such as a Bushnell 3.5-21 DMR. Plus I already have quite a few rifles/scopes to mount it on...
I understand what it's not going to be as good as my dedicated Day/Night scope but goal is to Night enable as much of my other firearms as I can.
How do you mount PVS-14 behind riflescopes???
What are the good clip-ons?
I have my PVS-14 with great quality L3 tube. I also have ITT F7201A Day / Night Vision Scope but it's permanently mounted on 1 gun
I can clip on my PVS-14 in front to scopes on other rifles or save some money and buy a clip on.
What would be advantages of dedicated device?
HunterOneNine - best advise I think it will work great especially if I will increase number of categories - i.e. - medium range tactical rifle, long range tactical rifle, bench rest rifle. lightweight (on foot) hunting rifle, etc
I will also combine it with other people advise by rescoping my...
I have quite a few of precision and hunting rifles I accumulated over 15 years. Can't tell exact number now but probably close to a 90. Had some scoped gas guns which now have been moved to PA where I'm buying property to get away from crazy NY anti-gun laws.
My problem is because collection...
