Re: Advice needed on M1A optics. With a standard walnut or USGI fiberglass stock you will need a cheek riser, period, unless you have a freakishly-shaped noggin. Trying to get around this will only result in disatisfaction. +1 on the Sadlak mounts. I run one of these with a 40mm objective...- P Henry

Re: All you guys with Cans For the bolt gun I bought it for, I never shoot without the QD suppressor. I have a mount for a SCAR 17S as well. I'd rather shoot the SCAR without the can.- P Henry

Re: New scope for my barrett m99 50bmg My M99 has a flat base/rail. Does yours have an incline? If not, you will probably need an inclined base, mount or adjustable rings to get that far out. I have a 5-25x56 S&B on mine and love it, but I've never shot even halfway to 2000 yds with it...- P Henry
