I get the wind calls from mirage. But if it's boiling straight up does it move your target perspective. For example if it's heave mirage, how much higher will it move the image of the target?
Yeah I don't get it either. By the time other systems get there range I have range, angle, drop in MOA, and wind corrections. Super fast, there's nothing faster I think
Yeah me to, I just didn't like how you had to program the device in the computer! I also don't think it's as user friendly, does the lieca show wind corrections?
I F'ed up and I put that, and soup but I also added fritz brass shiner (oops!). And now all my brass is turning black ish, I have to media ruble it to shine it. Any way to get it out of my SS tumbler, I wrinshed it out multiple times.
When it reads the range it's dead on, no doubt. It matches perfectly to JBM, the temperture and pressure is also extremely accurate. Like I said if it reads the range your GTG.
The reason I was thinking about getting a vectronix, is because of it's power. It's a very nice range finder don't...
I have a G7 and I really like it! Everything is very fast and you can see your temp, BP, angle, and all your FV wind holds very quickly after getting the range. The only thing I wish it had smaller beam divergence, but it hasn't been an issue yet!
You can only check runout in a case that has a bullet seated in it, you cannot check runout through your sizing process. Like above I could never get the two to line up, and I trust my Sinclair one. Also it's not advisable to try and "fix" runout by pressing on one side of the case for obvious...
I've been using my TAB gear for about 2 years now and I like it but I feel it needs to be larger. I just got an MOA system rear bag, gets good reviews and it's larger with when inflated, I'll let you know how I like it when it gets here.
Has anyone heard if they will bring something similiar to the terrapin back? Hopefully does slope and has serial or bluetooth, I know about the other higher end ones but that's a little to steep for me.
I use a sinclair and like it, it allows me to check my runout throughout my reloading process. Dont get the hornandy one, I dont like it at all. Now how important is it is up to you, I always use it when sizing my brass. I've shot great groups even at distance with .003" runout on brass neck...
I have a G7 rangefinder, that I love how simple and quick it is, but i have a tough time ranging in rain/fog/snow, even hitting a black cow at 800-1000 yards is iffy. I really want to get a vectronix terripan.
how does 5X work for long ranges, my g7 is 7X?
Whats the fastest ballistic...
I have the Rianov Solo: overall id give it a C-
Cons:
I think the interface is really really slow and awkward. So you range the target (say 750 yards), you hit the power button, go to the bottom right corner click select, than it calculates slope and cant (takes about 3 seconds) and isnt super...
