Rifle Scopes Adjusting parallax for rapid shots?

Re: Adjusting parallax for rapid shots? What I do is that I set my parralax to the middle of my shooting range. That way the error is split in half going up or down the range. Then just practice consistent cheek weld and shoot.

    Flash hole reamer

Re: Flash hole reamer On mil surp and commercial brass, I found that the flashholes are never really that nice. So I fix them with my Lyman tool which works like a charm. I even do this for my Lapua brass but don't ever see the difference. It's just for my peace of mind. Just don't over do...

    friend pickpocketed in grocery store

Re: friend pickpocketed in grocery store That's why I don't carry cash on me anymore. I haven't carried cash in the past 7 years. Go ahead and steal my credit card. I still have recourse with my CC company. I have disputed fraudulent charges in the past and my CC company has taken care of me...

how much of a save ?

Re: how much of a save ? It depends what you are loading. If it's for mass plinking and you aren't using quality products, then you can save around 30-50%. But for myself personally, I don't save much. Here is my break down for my .308 that I hand load. .70 for Lapua Brass .28 for Hornady...

    RCBS Chargemaster Dispenser Combo

Re: RCBS Chargemaster Dispenser Combo I bought a CM about half a year ago and it worked right out of the box! However with varget, you might get it over .1 grains once in a while. The mcdonalds straw fixed that quick.

    question about 5.56x45 for ar-15's

Re: question about 5.56x45 for ar-15's I have used both Varget and IMR4895 for my .223 loads. I have loaded over 2k rounds with these powders. They both work but you get low velocities. It's fine for plinking imo. They just aren't ideal IMO for .223 but since I load mainly for .308Win I like...

    Little Badass

Re: Little Badass All bullies get what is coming to them. Good on your kid. But I would be a little more cautious this day and age considering how sue happy we are as a country. I wouldn't be surprised if his parents conjoured up a story saying you trained your kid to fight or some other...

    My 99% complete reloading room!

Re: My almost complete reloading room! Mine is in the garage....hate it when it's freezing cold in the winter or blazing hot in the summer. I was entertaining the idea of setting up something indoors...but that's NOT going to fly with the other half.

Newb needs help 308 Win and Varget +168 Hor. HPBT

Re: Newb needs help 308 Win and Varget +168 Hor. HPBT 32.6 grn of varget is extremely low. I say start at 42 and work your way up to 46. Some people have pressure issues as low as 44grns but I don't have any issues at all at 46 except that it shot like crap.

Re: THATS IT.. I QUIT!!!!!!! Keep yourself busy. I have quit before and didn't have the slightest urge to smoke. Then I started to slack a little and started to hang out with friends at bars and clubs again so it made it very very hard. I picked it back up unfortunately but I only have 2-3...
