I have been trying to get out to the range, but have been swamped with work. I hope next week I can post some targets.

    X-ring Accuracy 6.5x47

Woody builds a great rifle no doubt and is very friendly on the phone. I have two of his rifles now and waiting for the rest of my parts for my 300 win mag now. One of the guys at our local range has a 6.5x47 Woody built and it shoots lights out as well, congrats on your rifle as well.

    223 and barrel twist

I have not shot any 80's yet, but I am running 77 Scenars in a 1-9 with great results. Berger has a twist calculator on there site that works pretty well. You might want to enter some data and look at the projected SG.

    what powder?? 260 tac

The hybrids are not as sensitive as the regular bergers from what I have found. I run my 140's .002 off the lands which has given me the best results in my rig. I have tried the hybrids from .002 off to .040 off and have done very well with them.

Changing from H4350 to IMR 4350

I have got the best results with group size, ES and SD with IMR 4350 in my 260. I tried a few primer types and found WLR primers worked the best for my setup.

Well after doing some reading I am just going to shoot F/Open. I asked my gun smith to order me a Stiller action and a Barrel. I just have to find a stock now.

    F T/R Competition F/tr caliber question

I have talked with a few guys at our local range that shoot the F/TR class on a regular basis. I was told that I could shoot any caliber up to 308, but I also read the rules for F/TR and it states 223 and 308 only? So I am not sure what is right and what is not?

6.5mm Cutting Edge Bullets 133 grain

I have a 8.5 twist, the barrel was pretty fresh. I did clean it the night before, but put 5 fouling rounds through it before I tried them. I was wondering if I was not pushing them fast enough? I am going to bump up the charge and try them again. I had to start somewhere with it. Thanks for...

6.5mm Cutting Edge Bullets 133 grain

So I decided to try some Cutting Edge bullets in my 260 after trying them in my 338. I had great results with them in the 338, but the 260 not so much. I loaded them per Cutting Edge's instructions. I made sure all of my cases were cut to spec of 2.025 with the inside beveled with a VLD tool...

.260 Rem : varget and 140 grain Amax

I loaded some more today and went to 35.8. I am not going anymore then this. I found my barrel bullet combination works the best in the 2650 to 2670 area. It gives me the best accuracy. I have tried some other powders and gone into the mid 2700"s and accuracy was there, but not as good as the...

.260 Rem : varget and 140 grain Amax

I just used some Varget in my 260. I started low and I am up to 35.6 grains with the velocity right at 2600. This is in a 24 inch Obermeyer barrel. The accuracy was great even with my starting load of 34 grains.

    Hodgdon Hybrid 100V??

That is my normal powder for my 260. I run 39.4 grains of it with the Amax, Berger and Lapua bullets. I have to say it is a little on the dirty side, but seems to perform well. I average 2720 to 2730 fps on this load with the Amax seated on the lands.
