    Foul Mike

Hell of a man. I never got to meet him in person. One fond memory was when he finally got his 1st CAV avatar up and running after hours of frustration. He was struggling to get it full size and not cut off. I am not tech savvy at all, but I earned my CIB with 1st CAV and reached out to help a...

    Maggie’s Motivational Pic Thread v2.0 - - New Rules - See Post #1

Ouch! Friendly fire ain't so friendly. O' dear reader of the Hide. I have had the grave misfortune of meeting the troglodyte known as Dirty D. All 5'2" of his routundness and his fine, single wide party palace here in AZ. Got to give him credit where credit is due. You could park a M1 on that...

Forced to switch from Strelok to AB, have questions

Samsung store is a digital store you buy apps at on your phone. Like the Google Play store. It is accessible if you have a Samsung. It should be a preloaded app on your Samsung device.

Forced to switch from Strelok to AB, have questions

Just bought and downloaded Strelok from the Samsung Store. Not sure if you have android or not. Strelok isn't on the google play store for android, but it is still available to purchase from the Samsung store if you have a Samsung android. Just FYI.

Maggie’s Funny & awesome pics, vids and memes thread (work safe, no nudity)

Did the same up in Weyerhauser on the coastal range with two elk. Old man and his friend dropped two bulls who decided they would live just long enough to get to the bottom of a steep ass canyon. Our equipment was nearby so we set up the yarder on the high landing with a high line and skylined...

Keep them coming. I have recognized each place you have posted and man do I enjoy the memories that come flooding back. I sure miss OR, but not the retards in the I-5 corridor that have ruined that state. Grew up a Coastie, but spent a lot of time in Southern OR and Bend/Redmond also. That...

Didn't all of OR go full retard with that rule? I do remember my dad saying something about BiMart doing that. I haven't lived there for quite awhile.

Yep. Regional bakery. Hell, Sonic Saami probably bought them at the regional Bi-Mart store, which is always a great place for ammo and reloading components or Hickory shirts.

When did you realize you were getting old?

Conducting an annual physical health screening on soldiers and I saw this young female E2 with a very unusual last name. Same last name as a fellow 2LT that was KIA in Iraq back in 2004. I said I knew a soldier with the same last name and mentioned his full name. She piped up "that was my...

Hook to hang gamechanger on belt

Concrete float or trowel hook you wear on your belt would work. Cheap, simple plastic hook that clips on your belt, but is usually in non tacticool colors. Bow hunting and bench press skills not included. .

    Sig Kilo 2000 - Dead?

I'm currently in the process of pulling my broken one apart. Going to figure out what is rattling in there. Once inside it's just like working on a computer. Little ribbon connectors to undo

    Sig Kilo 2000 - Dead?

Remove rubber cover on top. There is a 1.6mm Phillips under the cover. A second 1.6mm Phillips is hiding under the yellow laser tag on the bottom. I just punched thru the tag with the screwdriver. Pull the body out from the case, but not too far. The power lines are soldered on both the battery...

    Sig Kilo 2000 - Dead?

Hope it works for you. They are decent little rangefinders when they work. Once they go kaput its time to get a new one. They seem to have a planned obsolesce at 5 years and 1 day.

    Sig Kilo 2000 - Dead?

I have my manual at home in my range bag. I'll dig it out when I get home and Post a pic of the procedure. I don't remember how to do it off the top of my head. It was some convoluted process of hold this button for 5 seconds and then push this button 3 times while standing on your head and...

    Sig Kilo 2000 - Dead?

I had the same issue. Thought I had lost the display. swapped batteries, etc with no luck. Turns out I had to go into settings and turn up the display brightness back onto auto sensing. somehow I had turned it from auto light sensing to manual and all the way down to the lowest setting...

Maggie’s Funny & awesome pics, vids and memes thread (work safe, no nudity)

Grandparents and my dad when he was little were pickers all over CA and OR. They finally settled in Myrtle Point, OR. Those accomodations look nicer than the stories they told. Most of the time they were in a tent and took it with them as they followed the harvests.

Maggie’s Funny & awesome pics, vids and memes thread (work safe, no nudity)

Ran the Rogue River from Agness up to Blossom bar via jet boat to spread my old man's ashes at his fishing hole. Sure is pretty country. Was damn nice being back in Southern OR. That black and white is a picture of a print of a photo my father took at of the Rogue years ago and the second is...
