+1 for Mike at CS Tactical! He's also a great person to meet in person, very down to earth.

Rifle Scopes USO ER25 vs Vortex Razor Gen 2 4.5-27

Same thing happened to me when I purchased a 3.2-22 from a friend. Tracking issues, but they said they would send a ballistic card for reference. Second recommendation, would I like a ER25 as a replacement! Uh, sure. Yes, it is large, glass is good and it tracks perfectly. Customer service...

    Nosler 175 rdf

Just started using these, comparing them to the SMK and TMK. More consistent on my new build compared to the Sierra's and they shot pretty damn good. Rem 700 trued with 22" OB MTU 1:10 barrel. Loaded at 2.1725 BTOG, (far end of magazine, no problems feeding) 44.7 gr of Varget, Hornady brass...

Devcon, I've been tempted to use the others but why mess a good thing up. Devcon doesn't have a very long shelf life though.

I need a spotter and need some help!

I'm in the same situation as Cypriss. I was thinking about the Razor 85 and adding a Leica 1600B? Really like the Kowa 883 or Nightforce, but I could get the Razor and Leica for the same price! Cant really tell about the quality of glass on the Bushnell spotter.

Gunsmithing Fixing bedding job where action wasn't square to stock.. Help?

Did you check the lug area for clearance? Perhaps the recoil lug was sitting a bit high on one side or the back of the lug was pressing against the lug channel of the stock causing it to shift slightly? Maybe place some 20 mil tape under the front of the lug under the barrel to lift it up off...

Vortex Razor HD 85mm or Zeiss Diascope 65mm?

Good to know where they're made now! Thanks for that info. I know what not to buy. Too bad Vortex had to resort to that.

Vortex Razor HD 85mm or Zeiss Diascope 65mm?

One Wolf, interesting observation! That Zeiss had the fluorite glass? I'm pulling the trigger on a spotter myself and have been leaning towards the Meopta S2, but that Razor has been popping up and am not sure anymore! Is it really that good and how far were your observations? Thanks

Rifle Scopes Experience with Valdada IOR scopes?

Bought the 3.5-18x50 for my sons AAC and absolutely love everything about it! I've heard some people having concerns about the 3-18x42's eye relief, not much back and forth movement in the scope rings when mounting to your base. Don't have that issue with my sons, more clearance with his model...

The image quality probably suffers when using anything less than a high end spotter? Lowlights 60 is phenomenal with that setup!

Rifle Scopes Level Scope to earth or level scope to gun then level as a set to earth?

I've used this method on my long guns and my sons newly acquired AAC and it has worked wonders. A great piece of advice, Thanks Frank!

    Sidearms & Scatterguns New S&W J Frame 642 Trigger/Action Job

Totally agree with Sterling! Used this type of shorty as a backup weapon when all we were authorized to use, was the wheel gun. This weapon was to be used as a last resort for very short range, around 5-7 yards, if even that. Dry fire is good working on a good pull. You'll be amazed on how...

Gunsmithing picatinny scope rail mount question

Perhaps you should contact DPMS and see if they make or outsource their rail. If they make there own, see if they can make one or let you know what company they outsource from. Just a thought! It beats trying to get a bunch of rails to see which one is going to work for you. Good luck
