Gunsmithing AX Stock question with a timmy 510 trigger

Sometimes it does. Seen a thousand of them and some do, some don't, so plan on it needing to be done. Also, check the clearance of the safety pin once inside the stock. If unsure of the pin, cycle the safety on and off and you will see the pin sticking out on the left side of the trigger when...

    Gunsmithing recoil Lug

.187 works, so do the .250 and .300. The main idea is a precision ground lug. So pick your thickness.

Gunsmithing HS Precision stock bedding & other stuff

I would bed it as the V blocks are just that, V blocks. Float the tang. Just my .02

Gunsmithing Truth about blueprinting a Rem 700

Still ciphering what the conundrum is. If it's trued it's better than it was. Whether the accuracy was improved?! Non issue, it runs / works better than it did. Barrel and chambering has a part in it. Still comes down to the nut loose behind the trigger. One lug squared faster, bolt body was...

Maggie’s What's your favorite food and how's it prepared?

Fried chicken, made by me. Best ever. Add mashed potatoes and sweet peas ladled into the spuds. Simple. Godamndest part of this, I used to have fried chicken parties. Those ding dongs would drive from miles away to attend. Who woulda a figured, an old gun builder causing a stir over damned old...

Gunsmithing Jigs for installing bolt handles

Not starting a pissing match.... I was taught to use the front lug set against a known area and time the bolt handle to that. I need to keep my mouth shut I think :)

Gunsmithing Truth about blueprinting a Rem 700

Truing said action is good. Nut loose behing the trigger is bad. Machining new barrel is good. Determining .001 on a match........hell a gnat farting in front of said bullet makes it go hither dither. And yes the OP is non existant, damn trouble maker

Gunsmithing Truth about blueprinting a Rem 700

The biggest snag is the loose nut behind the trigger :)

Gunsmithing Breaking Radius on barrel tennon for recoil lug?

If you feel 2 minutes of your time is a waste to make a shoulder that doesn't look like a factory job. Used to do it that way.

Gunsmithing Is full Bedding of the Action Necessary?
