USO TS-12 Mounting on a Ruger Ranch

I am thinking about mounting a US Optics TS-12 on a Ruger Ranch 6.5 Grendel. I can see this might be difficult because it is so short. I have seen a few pictures online of different mounting options. Using a riser and then rings to get it just high enough looked like it might work. Has...

    6.5 Grendel

I was finally able to get out and shoot some groups to proof the load development so far. I think I am going to run with 28.0 grains of IMR 8208xbr with the 123 ST's. Loaded up 50 and will shoot some 5 and 10 round groups. Impressed with the Ruger Ranch thus far.

    6.5 Grendel

It was virgin brass. The shoulder only blew out .006". This Ruger has a pretty tight chamber. The 123 SST was kissing the lands at 2.250".

    6.5 Grendel

Started some load work up. Looks like I will settle in the 2380 range. Not bad for a light handy rifle. 2.240 OAL.

I've been happy learning on this. Nice to have the digital side. I have a local fusion repeater and am able to talk to folks all over the world on 2 meters. https://www.hamradio.com/detail.cfm?pid=H0-015655

    Building a "precision" hunting rifle

I really like it. It was pretty easy to install. I have a CTR stock on a T3x Lite and used a "stock pack" type cheek riser on it. I added layers of tape to get the height right. Still don't like they way it fits. That's why I ponied up for the Kalix.

    Building a "precision" hunting rifle

This is where I ended up after trying to keep it light and have good ergonomics. Added the different angled grip and a Kalix Tecnik cheek riser. Rifle as it sits weighs around 9 pounds.

i'm using a Airlife breathing thingy to keep my lungs in shape and stave off pneumonia.. My boss asked if my dumb ass was still going to ride after this. my reply...yes. I will play it all by ear and listen to my docs.

6.5 creed with a brake. Very little recoil. I was envisioning ground hunting with a tripod. I understand the healing process and plan to do no harm.

Didn't think of a pistol. I may give that a try down the road a bit.

The bike is fine I think...). I think it went over the top. Right radiator shroud is torn off. Haven't been able to inspect it any closer.

Physical Fitness Accident forces switch from right to left.

It happened on a big double. Guy rolled it and turned left into me. My front tire hit his helmet and the next thing I remember is getting a shot of fentanyl. Thankfully I had just put on my Atlas neck brace. I think it saved my neck. Wearing the sling religiously.

Physical Fitness Accident forces switch from right to left.

I had a pretty bad crash last weekend and shattered my collar bone, broke a few ribs, bruised my lungs and had a concussion that knocked me out for 25 minutes. I want to get ready for deer hunting but cant shoot or practice my normal right handed way. Should I try to work on left handed...
