I've got a Badger base on my 300WM R700 and its solid as a rock. If I had to do it over again, I'd probably put one on my .308 R700 as well. I'm using their rings with all of my optics and couldn't be happier. If you put everything at correct torque values, you should be golden.- FailureToStart
