    Re: 300 blackout sbr build questions Just put my Seekins Lower and Mega monolithic upper together with the Noveske 10.2"bbl. I have the Pistol Kit on it now and running the CompM4s with it. No supressor yet but it functions well. Killing Coyotes this weekend with it.

    Re: Target rounds not good for protection? Try some semi-wadcutters in plain old fashion lead. They flatten out real quick, they wont over penetrate and have killed alot of cowboys and indians. The rock that hit Goliath wasn't a Gold Dot or hydroshock.....It comes down to placement.

    Re: Target rounds not good for protection? Ball rounds in a .45 and 9mm seem to work fine for our millitary. Anything faster than a thrown rock is perfect IMO. I have carried the Talons, Gold Dots, Hydroshock in duty weapons that did not feed well on the ramp. Ball has never failed to climb...

    Re: Dillon XL650 *without* casefeeder I have the 650 with the case feed. Use it for my .45s and run about 900 rounds an hr. It will produce more if you prep all the primer tubes. It will still impress you w/o the case feed. Great machine for .45. I have yet to try mass produced .223.

    17-4 annealed and double heat treat stainless.

    Went out to test how tough this shit is today. 3/8 inch stopped in its tracks the 270 wsm, 30-06, and the M-14 at 20 yards. Scratched the surface a little. My new shooting steel.
