Effective Range Out of the Box ?
I am in the market for a .308 ar-10 For the money this is the best one. But I cant seem to find the effective range for this particular rifle. Ive been seeing people here with ar-15 with what it looks like ten inch barrels. can someone point me to the direction where I can purchase a ar or just the barrel? would really like to make my ar or buy one that looks compact like that too.- blazinpixels

Re: Great News But I still need help I am going with a .308 on the action i am open to anything. Most of the companies use the same grade metal. But I can get a surgeon action new for 900. badger actions are around 1200 i think. I want a superb rifle btw- blazinpixels

So I just got my mcmillan a2 stock in today with a declerator pad. Stats on it: Badger ordance metal inlets, shortaction set right now for remington action and varmint barrel. I want to shoot at about a 1000 yards with it. Will a 22inch barrel from gap be sufficient? What would be a good...- blazinpixels
