Yes, please don't let my experience prevent you from trying them. I am going to try them in another barrel and see if I can get them to work. Looking forward to what you discover.
Alright, I am stepping away from the 145 MBs. I could not get these things to group. Good velocity with low ES and played with jump. Not feeling it. This was out of an 8 twist Proof prefit for an AIAT. What a kick in the balls.
I hear you on the Bergers, definitely the easy button. In these challenging times having back up projectile plan seems prudent. I need to get some bullets jumping. Thanks John.
I've been doing some load development with these this week. They have been truly unremarkable in my 8 twist Creed. I am going to clean my barrel and try jumping them. How far off the lands are you? What is the bc looking like? thx

I really like the concept...
I used the run them. They ran great for me on a square range. When I shot a field match with them they puked on the dust and sand in the windy match conditions. I would have to take the mag apart after every stage and wipe it out. The followers hung up on the sides. Retired them. I've watched...
This is the only thing I would change about this scope as well. The reticle is too thick in the center, a floating dot would make it complete. Updating it with better glass goes without saying. Looking forward to seeing what is released.
Sako Quad is a 17hmr, 22mag, 17m2, 22lr switch barrel all with the same bolt and different barrels.
I don't know the answer to the original question but I am curious as well.
I have a 7 wsm hunting rifle and an ELRish rig that I shoot Both are short action. I push Berger 180s with RL 26. Load dev was pretty idiot proof as I just loaded to mag length and used RL 26 charges. The hunting gun runs at 3050 and the other tube at 30” goes 3100 easy. I am a huge fan of the...
